Study permit
A Canadian study permit allows you to study at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). You will normally need a letter of acceptance, proof that you can pay your tuition and living costs and, for most college and undergraduate programmes, a provincial or territorial attestation letter (PAL/TAL).
Best for: students who have — or plan to get — admission to a Canadian college or university, and can show genuine study goals and sufficient funds.
